Hebridean Equestrian Centre is dedicated to providing horse riding and horse riding instruction for both adults and children over the age of 4.
We offer group horse riding lessons and also one on one tuition.

We cater for visitors who want to improve their horse riding ability, for local riders who want to learn from the beginning, or for those who are coming back to the sport to re-learn their skills and re-gain fitness levels.

Here at H.E.C we try our best to provide horses that are as safe as possible, while maintaining an enjoyable and fun attitude to riding and learning equestrianism.

Lunge

Lunge lessons are also offered here at Hebridean Equestrian Centre.  This is where your instructor controls the horse on the end of a long rein, which allows the rider to be free to concentrate on altering their position.

Lunge lessons are a great way to boost your confidence, improve your balance or simply to improve your basic riding position and riding skills.

These lessons benefit riders of all ages and stages to deepen your seat and improve your riding technique.

Due to the concentrated nature of work achieved during a lunge lesson, they never exceed 30 minutes.

Lunge lessons are priced at £18.00 per session.

Stable Management

For those of you who are interested in delving further into the world of horses, whether you are interested in having your own horse or pony in the future or just to experience a change from riding, then our stable management lessons are the thing for you.

These lessons are carefully prepared to help children and adults learn progressively about all aspects of horse and pony care.
